Nine for IX is a series of documentary films produced and aired by ESPN to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Title IX, the amendment passed to ensure gender equality in American college sport.
The documentaries are produced by ESPN Films in conjunction with espnW, the ESPN women’s brand, with the same creative, story-driven aspect that ESPN Films other series, 30 for 30, has, whilst also focusing on captivating stories of women in sports told through the lens of female filmmakers.
